together with Catholic Charities to establish a unique outreach
effort.

The St. Jane Center offers emergency to low-income
families in north county St. Louis. Over the years the ministry has grown to include a variety of programs and services to meet the holistic needs of children, adults, and senior citizens affected by poverty and illness.
We Visitation Sisters are happy to continue our financial and prayerful support of this ministry.
SERVICES
FAMILY EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE
gives financial assistance for basic needs such as utilities, rent/mortgage, medication, food and clothing.
SEASONAL PROGRAMS include the Good Apple Back-to-School Health Fair
where children receive backpacks filled with school supplies and
vouchers for new shoes and the Christmas Helping Hands Shopping Program
where children receive toys.
COMMUNITY HEALTH programs support chronic disease management, in-home asthma health screenings and family wellness support groups. Additional services include
Health Chat which is a monthly informational support group.
SENIOR OUTREACH SERVICES offer weekly assurance phone calls and occasional social field trips. Also included are
the Proud Grandparents Support Group for grandparents raising grandchildren as well as the
Swing Seniors Community exercise class.
H.O.P.E. CENTER provides prevention services to residents of St. Louis County.

St. Louis Archdiocesan Northwest and Northeast County Deaneries.
