The process of entering the Visitation Community involves the following steps:
1. Initial contact and regular communication with the vocation director.
2. Visits to understand and experience the Visitation way of life.
3. Spiritual direction/mentoring Periodic "Live Ins" with the community preceded by letters of reference.
4. A process of discernment with the community.
5. Physical and Psychological testing.
6. Freedom from family or financial obligations.
Women between the ages of 21 and 45 who are Roman Catholics with some work or college experience are encouraged to apply.
