Salesian Spirituality Cyberspace Community

The Salesian Spirituality Cyberspace Community (SSCC) is open to anyone seeking to live the devout life. Its purpose is two-fold: to support one another in responding to the universal call to holiness in the Salesian tradition and to make known to as many people as possible the riches of the Salesian heritage. Discussion selections, taken from the writings of our two Saints and other Salesian writers/speakers, are posted regularly. The six topics for discussion at this time include: living in the present moment, the little virtues, liberty of spirit, prayer of the heart, interiority, and holy indifference. The website also includes articles of Salesian interest, links to other Salesian websites, and a calendar for important Salesian dates.
In this online discussion group, SSCC members can read messages posted by other members at their leisure. Those wishing to respond simply send an email to SalesianSpirituality@egroups.com. Members who are pressed for time or have no desire for interaction need not respond to a message. If you are interested in joining SSCC, here is the method for doing so:

First you must register with eGroup, the website that hosts SSCC. To do this, go to its Website at www.egroups.com and follow the directions for registering as a new member.

Next you access the SSCC main page at www.egroups.com/group/SalesianSpirituality and follow the directions for subscribing. Once this is done, the moderator of the Salesian Spirituality Cyberspace Community will acknowledge your subscription to SSCC with an email letter of welcome.

You even may post a message to the community introducing yourself as a new member by writing to SalesianSpirituality@egroups.com. This is the address to use to post a message or a response to another member's message.
