Salesian Thoughts - Easter Season

A deep mysterious instinct leads us, in all we do, to satisfy our hearts' search for happiness. We grope about for it here and there, not knowing where to find it, nor what it is like, until faith shows it to us, makes known its infinite wonders. When we have found the treasure we have been looking for, how  gratified these poor hearts of ours; what joy it gives, what loving contentment!

St. Francis de Sales, Love of God, Bk. 2, Ch. 16

Jesus said to Thomas--

"You believe for you have seen me.

Blessed are those who have not seen

and yet believe."

Be faithful to abide with God and leave Him not,

except to see and do what he commands,

and then return at once and resume this

holy and simple attention and occupation near Him.

  St. Jane de Chantal, Answers
