Salesian Thoughts for the Ascension |
| Though the disciples
saw Jesus lifted up at his ascension, a cloud
soon hid him from their sight. Now Jesus Christ is
our love; and our love is the life of our souls. Our
life is hidden in God with Jesus Christ. When
Christ who is our love and our spiritual life
shall appear on the day of judgment, we too shall
appear with Him in glory. That is, Jesus Christ
our love will give glory to us, sharing with us
his bliss, his splendor.

After His death and resurrection our Lord Jesus entered eternal glory. May we deeply engrave in our hearts a determination to live Jesus in every situation regardless of our personal inclinations!
