St Jane Catholic Community Services

In 1983, the Sisters of the Visitation teamed together with Catholic Charities to start a unique outreach effort. The St. Jane Center offers emergency assistance to low-income families of the near north county of St. Louis. Over the years the ministry has grown to include a variety of programs and services to meet the holistic needs of children, adults, and senior citizens affected by poverty and illness.  Below is a copy of their mission statement followed by a description of the services currently provided by the Center.  This has been copied from the recently published Catholic Charities Community Services bulletin, "Every dream begins with hope."  We Sister are happy to continue our financial and prayerful support of this ministry to those in need in the St. Louis area.
