 Vocations

Do you want to know more about the Visitation Sisters?  This smorgasbord may help.

Visitation Founders  lists each of the four persons involved in the beginnings of Visitation back in 1610.  Quotations from their correspondence introduces you to the values of each.

Visitation Timeline  highlights the three monasteries significant in the founding of the St. Louis Visitation.  Read these brief histories of the Annecy, Georgetown DC, and St. Louis MO monasteries.

Daily Activities  introduces you to some of the activities that fill the day of every St. Louis Visitation Sister.

A Typical Day  gives you our ordinary daily schedule.  Note the balance between prayer and study, work and ministry, recreation and rest.

Beginnings  tells you the story of the first days of a person interested in becoming a Visitation Sister.

Retreat  offers you an opportunity to make a retreat here at the monastery for the purpose of discerning your vocation to the Visitation Order.  This also gives you an opportunity to sample the life of a Visitation Sister as you live, pray, work, and minister to God's people among us.
