Retreat Invitation

Inviting women and girls to make a short time of retreat in the monastery is one of the ministries Francis de Sales suggested for the Visitation Sisters.  We invite you to take advantage of this invitation.  The only fee is your voluntary donation.

WHY MAKE A RETREAT?

Would you like to deepen your spiritual life?  Do you need to

  • have a weekend change of  routine?
  • slow down and relax?
  • renew or refocus your energies?
  • gain some perspective on your life?
  • discern God's call for your future?

A retreat here at Visitation may help.

        WHAT WILL YOU EXPERIENCE?

The rhythm of our monastic community life will offer you these choices:
  • time and space to be alone with God or
  • guidance in prayer from a Sister;
  • daily Eucharist with the Sisters and/or
  • periodic praising of God in the Office;
  • meals by yourself or with the Sisters;
  • balance of prayer, work, and leisure.

Come for a weekend of prayer and reflection.
