Associates Corner

Spring Schedule

On April 19th, the associates will have a mini-retreat here at Visitation.  The day will begin at 8:10 a.m. with Morning Prayer with the Sisters followed by the Liturgy of the Eucharist.  After a continental breakfast, Rev. Osborn will lead the group into the first meditation of the day.  There will be a short coffee break about 10:30 followed by a quiet time for prayer.  At 11:30 the participants will pray Midday prayer with the Sisters and then each will renew his/her commitment to the VAC community.  This action ends the retreat but anyone who wishes is invited to remain in prayer here as long as desired.

On May 6th, the VAC community meets at 7:05 p.m. to pray Night Prayer with the Sisters.  On this evening the participants will discuss chapter 4 in the book Bond of Perfection. 

On May 17th, the Community meets at 8:10 a.m. for Morning Prayer followed by the Eucharist.  At the meeting afterwards, the participants will be introduced to yet another way to pray.

Wednesday, May 28th, is the day for community service, i.e. the associates supply cookies for St. Augustine's parish meal for the needy.

We Sisters pray all the associates and their families have a relaxing summer.
